Hey Kevin, you are most certainly welcome. Yes, my R9M was manufactured in early 2018 and is the "older" ACCST version. I was reading about why pilots are finding it necessary to add active cooling, ELRS's higher packet rates are more resource intensive and folks were finding that their converted pre-2019 modules were overheating when they pushed the output past 250mw.
I have been flying at 10mw and 25mw mostly for my testing so far. Have not pushed it like I do with Crossfire (it is happy as a clam at 500mw+), but am taking my time with it.
