Quick number crunching on the Happymodel SE0706 15000kv thrust data, which I forgot to post
You can get it from Banggood
The one I've received has a lot of vertical play on the bell - looks like it is missing a washer (my guess). It produced horrible vibrations on smaller props and due to this I only did a 1s test. I really can't tell if this is an issue present only on that one piece or on all of them...
After disassembly I see that there is a washer under the e-clip, but that one is clearly not enough. The motor uses brass bushings, not bearings.
The motor stayed relatively cool during the test.
Weight: 3.75g
Wire length: 5cm
If it wasn't for that loose bell I'd say that the build quality would be very decent, with tightly packed magnets that actually seem to be arced, air gap is very small.
I have tested it with different props:
31mm quadblade and cut to biblade (eachine e010/e011 "whoop")
31mm triblade
40mm quadblade and cut to biblade
56mm generic and cut to 40mm
Last ones are from cg023, not sold anymore, generally they seem to be a bit more powerful and efficient than the ladybirds (compare here), unfortunately all my other "longer" sample props are drilled for the 1103 and don't fit the 07xx motors. Need to get some fresh sets.
The motor got very hot on 2s test, I would stay on 1s in this case.
Data taken with an RCBenchmark 1520 thrust stand
Marked rows may possibly be affected by the amount of vibration the motor made.
And some photos:
