Gyro sampling / PID loop frequency
#1
Updating my Naze32 quad with latest betaflight, but unsure of what is best:

Gyro/Pid= 2khz

Or

Gyro= 2.8khz; Pid= 1.4khz (40% cpu)

What should give a better result?

Stick to 2/2. 40% CPU can easily spike much higher in flight.. best to stay below 30%.

CPU utilization is only 6% at 2/2... So I'll stick with this

On F303, yes. On Naze32, I'd consider that a display bug Smile

Hey again, I have more questions ! little bit hard to learn after 1 year later  !!!

I had to close acc for cpu %100, but When I disabled I didnt see Angle on mode tabs. So just airmode is active ? How can I solve this situation ? and the other question is about  CLI commands... Do I need some commands for best flying ?

now I use gyro and PID frequency, but I wonder about CLI commands as gyro_lpf= ???? and filters

If I activate, gyro and PID loop frequency 4/4 and I see cpu %100

If you are a beginner, you don't really need to use CLI as betaflight configurator has most options included.

If you have accelerometer disabled, angle mode is not available since acc is the hardware that's providing information about quad orientation in all axes in relation to the ground.

Try 4/2khz and see if you fall under 40%, if not, stay at 2/2. Sorry, a might have been wrong about your board capabilities.

Now it should be fine. One advice - don't go too much into technicallities right now. Enjoy your flying as much as you can, get yourself comfortable in FPV to the point you are able to abandon leveling modes and go acro - then learn to fly again (not kidding). When you start to feel confident again it will start making sense to fiddle with all those settings since you'll start to notice those tiny differences in behaviour of your copter.

As said in the beginning - prioritize fun now Smile
