Gyro force on arms
#1
So I've noticed my tadpole 2.5 is getting slightly concave in shape. At first I thought it was from the force of the air pushing up on the arms, but I feel like it makes more sense that the gyroscopic forces would do that, or a combination of both.
How does this effect flight, and should I flip the frame over at some point?

I don’t think carbon fiber should be warping like that. I’d check your arms for cracks or delamination.

Cracks or delamination will introduce all sorts of vibrations, some that are visible in flight especially with hard throttle.

If it is just a warp and the frame is stable, it shouldn’t effect flight just having the motors slightly skewed, but, if the arms have a lot flex that will introduce a bunch of vibrations. At best, not noticeable, at worst, it’ll struggle to fly and oscillate all over the place- like videos that you can find of people trying to fly 3d printed 5” frames.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

Right on, the carbon is intact, just slowly turning into a bowl. It is thin, 2mm I think. I'm just gonna let it do it's thing and see how far it'll go.
I probably push this one harder than any others, it's kind of my test drone.

Armattan frames have a lifetime warranty even from user inflicted damage, so if you are in the US then I would consider filing a warranty claim with Armattan and they will send out new frame parts free of charge. It will only cost you the price of shipping. If you're outside the US then it won't be worth it because the international shipping costs will outweigh the cost of the parts.
