Ground question.....
#1
Hi Guys....

Ran my 160 into a bush tonight and the ground wire for the buzzer got ripped off the bottom of the FC (Naze23 rev6 full)  All my connections are soldered and it's a tight build....to tear everything apart to re-solder this one wire would be a real PITA.  Is there any reason I can't pick the ground up from some other more easily accessible point in the build? Undecided

The buzzer ground ( on the Xracer F303 anyway) is usually is the signal wire for the buzzer and is controlled via the FC, You could try to ground it on a common ground, I am not 100% sure on the NAZE Boards if they also use the ground as the signal.

Thanks Steve, I'll run a test lead before I pull it all apart and see if it works...if not i'll tear it down and repair it.  I could bring everything off the board into connectors outside of the stack, but I am not sure that would have helped in this case.  Azalea bushes (my version of ninja trees) have all these very stiff small branches that can get into the damnest places..... ahhhhhh, the continuing joys of this hobby.  Thanks Steve.
