Central Florida, mid 40s, Computer Geek by trade (IT Network Manager) and have a brand new addiction - quads!

About 2 months ago, my dad and I came across an instructable on a DIY PVC frame quad copter.  What a cool project we thought, built it, tested it - and it flew.  Flew right up in the air and out of sight, never to be seen again.  Dad felt so bad he bought me an Arris FPV250 BNF kit and I'm not looking back.

Money does stay tight, so I'm trying to do my best to stay with the "lower" budget items - but I am quickly learning that in most of these items, you get what you pay for.

Currently fighting a yaw issue with a post-crash CC3D (Post with CF Screen cap) and shopping for a new Flight Controller.

In any case - really glad to be here, I've watched tons of Oscar's videos and have read lots of the FPV tutorials here.

Thanks!  I didn't mention that Dad was at the controls when it "flew" away - it was doing exactly what it was being told to.  He spent 20 years as a helicopter pilot and for some reason he thought that would translate to "I can fly this thing..."   HA!
