If you bought it in Europe it will be I had the exact problem you have . Flashed my transmitter and receiver with Europe and non euro and only had success when I flashed euro lbt firmware. It had me demented until I figured it out

Try it you can always flash it back again if it doesn't work. It found straight away with mine

I bought 2 x4r sb receivers. I bought the second one from a local dealer because I couldn't get the first one to bind . Tried flashing euro and non euro to taranis qx7 and receiver and even when I had euro or non euro on both it still wouldn't bind. But when I tried euro ltb on receiver it bound right away. Incidentally the second one I purchased locally had euro lbt on packaging. Got a second one for my first build once I'm fully hooked and can fly.?

Yes I know but try it

If it bind and works you can try updating later. Main thing is to sort out incompatibility between your transmitter and receiver
