Hi all,

Recently built a 7 inch LR off the Chimera 7 frame. Does anyone have a CAD or STL file for good skids for the arms? I couldn’t find anything on thingiverse and wanted to print up some some more as backup. Doesn’t have to be iFlight’s design, just looking for any good fits. Thanks!

IFlight happily provide STL files for other Chimera 7  parts on their support page (HERE) so I'm sure they would provide the ones for the skids if you emailed them and asked. If you do manage to get them, can you please post them back here for others.

Thank you! I was sure I remembered seeing something like that but had been looking at so many frames that I ended up convincing myself I’d seen it on some other site. Will def reach out and ask and post if so :-)

Update: iflight wrote back that they "don't have" the STL files for the chimera 7 skids. 

In the meantime I looked for other options and found 3 skids I'm going to print and see if they fit (either as is or with slight slicer scaling modification), will let you know if any of it works! If you happen to know one of them does, let me know :-)

I am almost done making one. Now I'm working on screw alignment then it's ready.
