GNB HV Lipos?
#1
Any opinions on the GNB HV lipos?  Been looking at the 3S 520mah HV in particular ...

I've used Tattu almost exclusively for its quality build and safety but need something only GNB has which is this lipo.  What really caught my eye is that it is lighter than the 450mAh I use now. Just want to get a bit more flight time and also the Tattu is not HV.

I've seen GNB get some good reviews, but I'd be a bit wary of HV.

I only get HV for 1S lipos, because the sag on brushless whoops is so bad. But I wouldn't want to use them with higher cell counts. They tend to survive fewer cycles and are harder to charge (you can't mix non-HV and HV in parallel, so it'll either go all HV or run seperate chargers). They are supposed to have more energy density (I've heard 10%), so if that's worth the downsides then give them a try!

The ground is for dead people.

I got them in, they are decent batteries... But inspect carefully when you get them in, I don't know why, but some of these tiny batteries tend to come slightly puffed regardless the brand. If that's the case, take photo and ask for replacement.

Yes I was surprised to see HV 3S's as well. My immediate reaction especially since it was a new brand name was that it was just a gimmick. I was also amazed that they weigh less than the lower capacity Tattu's of otherwise same specs. And HV. Just seemed too good to be true. Oh and cost less lol. So my concern was they had to have cut on quality to do that.

Thanks guys. Will definitely inspect physical appearance but also cell voltage disparity as soon as I get them. I went safe and paid extra got em from Amazon for the no hassle return (and quick shipping even for lipos).
