What's up guys? Fairly new here and fairly new to quads. Been flying off and on (mostly off) for about a year, and recently got back into it. Was flying the Vortex 250 pro during that time. Anyways I just finished building my first quad a few days ago, and set it up on BF. The stock rates on there are crazy high or maybe Im just used to the Vortex lower rates? Either way, if this is the standard (high rates), how do you guys fly so smooth without over doing something, as in the tricks, like rolls and whatnot? I feel as if if I just breathe wrong the quad's gonna react to it. The sticks are so sensitive with these rates.
Now on to my real question. I've never tightened the gimbals on my X9D Plus, so maybe these stock PIDs/Rates are just sensitive to me because my gimbals aren't tightened enough. Is this the case? Does everyone tighten their gimbals on their Taranis? Will tightening my gimbals make flying these rates a bit more easier?
For the record, I lowered my rates quite a bit, but would rather tighten my gimbals and go with the standard if it's more practical.
Thanx in advanced for any advise.
