Getting new FC for new pilots
#1
For new flyers what is a good cheep FC that has good auto-leveling.
I have an old sets of ESC's and motors that I'm going to put on an old frame for a couple of friends who have never flown before.

Any FC with a MPU will be able to run in Horizon mode, since it has both ACC and Gyro integrated Smile it will still drift with wind etc though remember, just maintain the correct angle

Naze32 Rev5 is a good, old, tested board. You might be able to find a cheap second hand one... if you are buying new, might as well go for one of the F3 boards, they are about the same price as a new Naze32 if not even cheaper, nowadays.

Adding to what cche said, I'd look for something with MPU6000 as it's known for working well in noisy environments

The cheapest, good FC is the Flip32 Rev 2.6 (7?) from readytoflyquads.com
It's $15.

However, for only $22 you can get the Omnibus F3 from the same site, which is much better. So if you want as cheap as possible, go Flip32 but if you want the best bargain, go Omnibus F3
