I couldn't help but notice your OSD has some issues (VBat and Amps - though mAh seems to work fine, odd).  What PDB is that and what have you tried?  Folks here (maybe not me) might be able to help you sort the issues.

sorry for the delayed response, surprisingly my first flight on this thing was very stable and much easier to fly than I expected Smile

I think the PDB was a matek PDB/OSD combo version 1, similar to this one http://www.banggood.com/MXK-Power-Distri...31375.html

which is v2

the mah isnt working either, it just seems to increase at a constant pace, no matter how much throttle. I pretty much gave up on it after I tried getting it to work with no success, one weekend.

I connected a wire from the tx and rx of the flight controller to the pdb.
Ive tried messing around with the MWOSD GUI, I actually have other things that are supposed to be on, like the artificial horizon. It only shows up in my goggles when the osd is plugged into the computer. Once I discconnect the usb, it dissapears.

I think it may have something to do with the settings in the compiler, maybe I didn't define the correct settings

For what it is worth, I tried those PDB's , 4 of them infact, all ended up failing with the OSD at different points in time. Rubbish is all I can say, the PDB part still works great.

With this PDB, you have to use and calibrate the virtual current sensor settings in the FC or the OSD depending on your setup. If you use the FC, you must use the cli command:
set current_meter_type = VIRTUAL

and set FC current sensor in MWOSD GUI

You can also use the virtual current sensor in MWOSD, but you have to make sure your serial communication with the FC is working as it uses the throttle to calculate the current. You also need this serial comm. to work if you want artificial horizon.

Here is some useful info:

https://github.com/cleanflight/cleanflig...Battery.md

If you are looking for a simple OSD with voltage, current and timer and no setup I would recommend this PDB with OSD and built in current sensor. there are different versions, but they should all be the same:

http://www.fpvmodel.com/matek-hubosd-eco...g1177.html

http://www.fpvmodel.com/matek-hubosd-eco...g1176.html

http://www.banggood.com/Realacc-HUBOSD-E...68098.html

The downside IMO is the inability to tune your quad from the OSD with this setup like you can with a OSD running MWOSD FW

thanks very much for the info, Ill give that a try, I had given up a while ago, and have just been using the timer lol.

LOL you posted that 2 mos ago, my bad
