I wated to toss that info on the thrust test of GEPRC 1206 motor, but it would just get lost there. Since there are almost no battery recommendations here, I feel like this is a better spot. This is not a scientific or data collecting+analysis test, just my thoughts and feelings.

I had a few flights on a brand new Gaoneng GNB 11.1V 550mah 3s 80/160C packs and I am really impressed, I don't feel any sag at all. Packs are still fresh, I will revisit this thread after I spend more time with them.



The Gaoneng 550 3s pack held up really good in a flight test:
keeping over 3.7V until 2:00 mark,
holding above 3.6V until 3:40
Landing on 3.53V at 4:15
Just amazing for a tiny pack in my opinion.

Around 3:00, I felt a bit like it started lacking in power (scratching the floor here and there), but it is due to the ‘natural’ voltage drop and I guess that is something I have to get used to as the battery was not really sagging at all.

I tested it flying in the garage, so that is not all out throttle punching, just consistent and active flying around. See yourself below, this was long and oring so I just cut out the beginning:
