I am contemplating building an Furibee F36 to - among other things - have an F3 FrSky compatible flight controller from Gearbest so it can be used with a Taranis Q X7.
One point that I am wondering about is EU legality. The info on the Gearbest FC says 'FrSky D8'. D8 RF mode is generally not usable with the EU LBT radio software (though I have read somewhere that the latest version may support it), but either way, D8 on an international receiver is not going to bind with D8 on an EU LBT transmitter.
Therefore, it seems to me that to get this to work, it will be necessary to have non-EU software in the transmitter, which isn't actually legal.
Is this right? I'd be interested to hear any opinions.
