Funny Story
#1
I spent 5 hrs. yesterday removing control stick pots from my simulator and resoldering them onto real world control apparatus, got all done, turned to unplug soldering iron and stepped on wires, pulling everything off the bench and smashing apart on the floor. DOOOHHH! 1 step forward and 10 steps back. I am so used to that. Ha! Me thinks I need some new 12k, 1 turn pots.

Ah no man, I know the feeling, spent 3 hours with a mate soldering a brushed board that didn't work. Day 2... After de and re-soldering everything I plugged in the USB and got flames out of 1 of the transistors!

I'm at least glad it's happening to me now on my simulator set up and not my Quad. Hopefully I'm getting it out of my system.
Hey Tom! Were the flames big enough for a barby? I would have tried to salvage it at least with some beer and brats.
