24 Looks like the same cable I use for my FS-I6X.
Just to confirm is the TX is set to output PWM signals?
Remember to set up a new model for the sim too, otherwise you may end up changing the settings used for one of your quads.
Also you must have the sim cable plugged into the USB when you launch the sim, the TX doesn't need to be connected to the sim cable though.

0 Hi Tom,
Thanks for the advice. I tried it in X plane 11 and managed to get it to work. Also, how do you set the Tx to output PWM and set up a model for the sim. Sorry about all the questions. I'm quite new to the hobby and am yet to buy a proper drone. Currently practicing on a Hubsan X4 and, when I get it working, a sim.

24 More than welcome Ollie!
Hold the OK button to open the menu, and select 'system setup' enter 'model select' and choose one of the presets by holding the 'cancel' button. (Any selection in the menu of the TX requires holding the cancel button to confirm and return to the previous menu, NOT the OK button, for some reason?!)
You can change the name in 'model name'... Once you have done that, still in the system menu, scroll down to 'RX Setup' and select 'Output mode' and hold the cancel button with PWM highlighted.
