Fried battery voltage wire
#1
Alright i learned my lesson. Rolleyes

I have two seperate jumper male/female cables running from my batt1 and ground of my MinimOSD Micro to the positive and negative inputs of the main Lipo its balance connector.

Accidentally i connected the positive wire to the ground of the balance connector. I connected the battery plug to the PDB and i saw a lot of smoke coming out of my quad. I immediately pulled out the battery plug but the damage was already done.

Luckily everything still works, except the wires in between the balance connector and the MinimOSD Micro that reads the voltage is totally burned and the plastic around the wires is even molten. Now the question is how the hell did the MinimOSD Micro or my CC3D (which powers the MinimOSD Micro) did not get fried?

Now iam gonna order some balance male connectors so i cannot make this mistake again and can only connect to the battery balance connector in the right way.
But I still wonder how everything survived. If somebody could clearfiy this whole thing up it would be a huge help.

Maybe you just got real lucky, But remember, just because the MinimOSD and CC3D did not burn or show signs of being burnt it does not mean that all is well with them, you may have intermittent problems later, or like I said, you could have got lucky and everything will be fine.

Hmm yes, well of course it will lookup the path of  least resistance which was the wire. But i guess the current went through the MinimOSD Micro.

Batt2 pin     Ground pin
    [MininOSD Micro]

Where the Batt2 Pin and Ground Pin are interconnected i guess.

I really would like to know how the MinimOSD Micro is interconnected. I only cant seem to find any wiring diagrams of it.
