fr-sky freq-fine range and quality
#1
Hello everyone
maybe it's a noob question, but it's about radios.
I usually adjust the freq-fine to optimize the transmission between radio (T8SG V2 PLUS) and receiver.
Today I realized that in the r-xsr, unlike the xm + or x4r, it has a range between the freq-fine limits min and freq-fine max is much more restricted: -40 +30, on the others it is almost double .

I was wondering if this range is indicative of better stability or not.

Automatically it occurs to me that if communication resists a wider range this will be more robust.
on the contrary the very small range will be easier to lose.

I don't know if I explained myself.

The way I understand frequency tuning and frequency range, it makes sense to me that a larger range will be more stable. But this is just my opinion without anything to back it up. I know it doesn't answer your question. I know that the R-XSR antenna uses a 1/5 wavelength while the X4R used a 1/4 wavelength. Some have say that you get better range on the R-XSR when you modify the R-XSR antenna to 1/4 wavelength. I wonder if doing this will changes you frequency range.

ah, I didn't know this thing of a different length.
but I can immediately tell you that nothing changes,
I replaced them thinking that they were defective with the antennas that I had spare, just the x4r, but the range has not changed.
now it occurs to me to try to do a range-test to see if there is a difference between the 2 antennas
