Yeah i'm wondering too what would be a good cheap kit and recommended size.

I have a little graupner hottwing for flying LOS, but for FPV i would want one to fly as stable as possible... most FPV wing footage i've seen so far looks pretty disturbing, being used to the super smooth quad videos.

"Wing" and "stable" are not words that tend to share the same sentence.

I used to have a Phantom from HobbyKing that I set up for FPV.  Super payload compartment for large battery and all of your FPV gear (including a spot for PZ0420 type cam).  It's a bear to launch, but it flew well.

I have an S800 here that keeps reminding me of the fact that it's still in its box.

Maybe the next build will have to be the S800 after all!

When I get brave enough and find a place with lots of space, I have been slobbering over buying a Skyzone Theer. It is FAST and it SCREAMS!

A stock Theer can do 110mph and a 6S upgraded one does 172mph!

This next video has onboard video starting at the 5 minute mark. Gotta stop watching these two videos or I will buy it!!!!

I agree! Not something you would pick as a camera platform for 4k nature videos! Confused

im doing the same ..... adding to my drone collection... i choose the opterra 2M (6ft)  wing,   BIG, graceful, easy to build and not to costly..  weather 48" or 6ft a wing is a wing....  i mounted FPV on the front, installed RETRACTS. ( to keep from having to throw the DAMN thang..)  lol...and its fast( not like a racer)but for a 6ft wing IT MOVES... watch videos
of coarse..... anyway any choice will be a good one..  The last pic with the LED'S  is one of my friends  Opterra... https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/...CO4B&adurl=

What size wing would work well with old miniquad parts? Specifically 2205 2300kV motors, 20A ESCs and 5 inch props.
