FPV video range issue
#1
I've replace all of my fpv equipment 2 times now and I still have range issues.

I am running an Eachine et600r with and eachine rc832 receiver.

The receiver is powered through xt60 plug and battery and goes to my quanum v1's.
The transmitter is powered through a 3s balance plug, the camera is using filtered power from the pdb and the video wire is connected to the transmitter.

I am 100% sure I am on the correct channel, and band.

The antennas I am using for both are rp-Sma anbee circular polarized antennas.

I have checked that the plugs are both rp-Sma, and I made sure not to turn on the receiver or transmitter before the antennas were on. I have checked seemingly everything yet I cannot get more than 50ft range. What else could I be doing wrong?

I think it might be the antenna, you should invest in some good quality antenna's, if budget is an issue the Aomway is pretty decent too. And also make sure they are both the same circular polarized directioni, e.g. RHCP with RHCP, LHCP with LHCP.

I'm having a similar issue with my setup, im thinking its my rc832, I am thinking to replace it with a fr632 diversity Vrx and hopefully solve my issues.

Have you tried a different video receiver? I tried everything and even bought a 600mw with no improvement. Even the Aomways (Which are badass for the price) didn't help until I replaced my Video RX.

I thought it could never be that and it was the last and only option. I wasted a ton of cash on vtx, antennas, cameras, filters same as you.

After I swapped for a cheapo GT Power RX I got from ebay for like $8, it's gone.

I can go pretty much as far as I want with the 600mw. To the point I can't hear my quad or beeper any more and get nervous I might lose it
