When I turn on the FPV remote, it has a red light that stays constant and has a beeping sound. I'm not really sure what to do. I've been doing research and going through the forums with people with a similar problem but I can't seem to find a solution. The firmware may need to be updated but I can't update it because it's not reading on my PC, although the remote responds to being plugged in to the pc, my pc doesn't show that anything is connected. Im connecting to it through usb c to usb. • Posts: 21,170 Threads: 581 Likes Received: 8,918 in 6,598 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 The first thing to do is to try a different USB-C cable in case the one you have is faulty or in case it's a charge-only cable without the data pins connected. Make sure you are 100% sure that another cable you try is definitely a data cable. • Posts: 40 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 14 in 9 posts Likes Given: 18 Joined: Jan 2021 Reputation: 0 (14-Jan-2021, 07:17 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: The first thing to do is to try a different USB-C cable in case the one you have is faulty or in case it's a charge-only cable without the data pins connected. It is definitely a data cable, this is the one I have: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-10...Id=6410842 I just bought it yesterday after I received the remote but I'm not sure why it's giving me these issues. I'm assuming maybe I have to use the old way of connecting before I use the usb c? • Posts: 21,170 Threads: 581 Likes Received: 8,918 in 6,598 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 I assume that you've fully charged the battery in the controller first and are powering it on first before connecting it to a computer? Then after doing that and connecting it to a computer, just run up the DJI Assistant 2 software and see if it can detect the controller. • Posts: 40 Threads: 13 Likes Received: 14 in 9 posts Likes Given: 18 Joined: Jan 2021 Reputation: 0 (14-Jan-2021, 07:37 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: I assume that you've fully charged the battery in the controller first and are powering it on first before connecting it to a computer? I have a 7 port usb hub and I guess three of them are not working. I plugged the controller through usb directly into my computer and it worked! I'm able to use the simulator now. Although there is still a solid red light on the controller and it's fully charged, I'm not quite sure what that means. • Posts: 21,170 Threads: 581 Likes Received: 8,918 in 6,598 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 OK, that's good news on the USB connection. Did you connect the DJI Assistant 2 app to the DJI Controller and activate it, then update the firmware on it to the latest available version? If not then do then next. Yes, I was able to activate and update everything. I've been playing liftoff, which I'm absolutely terrible at haha I'm still on the tutorials but hopefully I get better soon. • Posts: 2 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Mar 2023 Reputation: 0 (14-Jan-2021, 10:20 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: OK, that's good news on the USB connection. What to do if DJI Assistant 2 ap sees DJI FPV Controller 2, but the computer does not recognize the device and I cannot find the necessary drivers, please help • Posts: 21,170 Threads: 581 Likes Received: 8,918 in 6,598 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 (19-Mar-2023, 10:30 AM)Stack Wrote: What to do if DJI Assistant 2 ap sees DJI FPV Controller 2, but the computer does not recognize the device and I cannot find the necessary drivers, please help It's not clear what your issue is. If the DJI Assistant 2 is showing the DJI FPV Controller 2 as a connected device then it must be getting detected and recognised by the computer that you are running the DJI Assistant 2 on, otherwise it wouldn't even show up in DJI Assistant 2. • Posts: 2 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Mar 2023 Reputation: 0 (19-Mar-2023, 12:42 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: It's not clear what your issue is. Did you update the DJI Controller 2 to the very latest firmware version? If you did, you now need to use the DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) software instead of the "DJI FPV Series" version. • |
