OK,  so its not a quad... but I figured I'd share a former hobby of mine.

This is me racing my car in Utah about 5 years ago. It was a lot of fun and I draw a lot of comparisons between auto racing and quad racing... even if... pretty much everything is different. The hobbies themselves are similar. Good communities, fun to do, lots of repair and prep work between runs, always needing to order just one more thing from somewhere...

Turn down your volume if you have it up... the camera picks up nothing but wind and I wasn't really editing my vidoes back then. lol




My Rig:
Frame=92 Miata Red
Motors=Just one 1.6l DOHC mazda engine

OK... that's about as far as I can go trying to make it match with quads.

Suspension: Koni Yellows & Ground control springs with autocross tuned alignment
Exhaust: Jackson Racing headers, Roadster Sport cat back system, I had a special cat but I can't remember what it was
Intake: high tech premium autozone low profile cone directly on the airbox... used to sound like "skushhhh" when applying throttle which I liked.
Tires: Hankook RS3s
Breaks: Greenstuff and some sort of special rotors... I don't remember which.

I think I had some other stuff but I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

I still have the car but it needs a new crankshaft and the engine was on its way out anyway so it needs a new engine. Plus it's had some damage from sitting for a few years... needs some TLC... I might get it going again some day but I'll more likely sell it and get an STI or something.
