0 I'm new to quadcopters. I'm looking for a quad that is FPV, but it doesn't need to be fast. I want a larger battery for longer flight time. I also want to be able to carry things underneath via a cord if possible (nothing very heavy). The size doesn't matter either. I would also prefer it to be "ready to fly" Also, if it could be under $150, that would be great. I was looking at the Eachine Wizard X220. But the flight time isn't very long. Thanks in advance!

72 How heavy is "nothing very heavy"? How long is "longer flight time"? How far away from you will the quad be flying?
The answers to those three questions are really important to determine if what you want is even possible.
If you're expecting to get everything - quad, radio, FPV goggles and battery - for $150, the answers might make your already very small budget completely unrealistic.

0 15-Apr-2017, 01:47 PM (This post was last modified: 15-Apr-2017, 01:48 PM by Whorn.) Sorry. I'm new to quadcopters. I'd like to be able to fly it for 20 minutes if possible. Forget about being able to carry something. I would like it to be able to fly within a 100 meters radius if possible, but 50 meters would also work. I'm looking for just the drone, not including battery or anything else for under $150. Thank you.

72 Hmm...
Getting good range is fairly easy, but 20 minute flight times are harder. Low cost tends to imply cheap, brushed motors and they simply don't have the efficiency and power to drive the larger propellers that you need for long flight times.
Maybe someone else knows of something that will fit the bill...

30 Interesting topic... but to reach 10min i think you need larger props than 5", maybe even larger than 6" ... For 8" props and on it's again a whole different set of frames to choose from.
Do you have any specific gear already? Like batteries for example...
There's also some calculators like e-calc.

30 22-Apr-2017, 01:31 AM (This post was last modified: 22-Apr-2017, 01:32 AM by fftunes.) Hm not sure there is anything like that, like, ready-to-fly in that size and price range...
Of course you could DIY, buy a cheap 450mm frame (have a look at myrcmart for example) and the rest of the gear (with better advice than i can give) ... but will be hard to stay below 150$.
PS: what about a used one? Maybe you can find a cheap DJI flamewheel or something.
