FPV Noise white/black interference
#1
Hey guys. Im new to the hobby and I’m purchasing a Nazgul5 4s of a friend. The only concern I have is the noise on the video feed.

The nazgul already has a capacitor on the lipo pads.
The vtx is a akk infinite dvr
The Camera is powered by the FC (the vtx has 5v too, I’m planning to power the camera from there)
The diagonal black lines only come up when armed (saw some people solving with a lcfilter)
The question I have regarding LC filter is most of the filters are rated to 16v, since I’m running 4S could this be an issue?
Other thing I noticed, even with the quad landed and disarmed you can see some noise on the feed
The goggles is a ev800d with a geprc patch antenna and a foxxer diversity. What can this be?

Thanks!

The noise does not look too bad. I would try moving the camera to 5V on the VTX. I don't really think that a lc filter will clean it up. The VTX itself has a lot to do with cleaner video.

So maybe with a better VTX I can get a less noisy feed? I thought these Akk were better than average. Can this foxxer antenna be worse than the ev800d stock's antenna? I'll try to use the stock one  and see how it goes.

AKK are more budget VTX.

I know here's not the place, but can you recommend me, or link somewhere that I can get some trusty recommendations about VTX and antennas?

Thanks

Just an update. Ended up replacing ESC and FC because they burnt, the video is crystal with the new parts

That's good news.

It sounds like poor design and quality control from iFlight has struck again. We see so many issues on here with their electronic, and this is yet more supporting evidence for people to keep well away from any iFlight manufactured electronic products.
