FPV Inductrix BNF - Tiny Whoop
#1
[Image: UVod87nl.jpg]

Great news from Horizon Hobby, that they are making a FPV capable Inductrix micro quad (AKA Tiny Whoop). Which means the users won't need to buy all the parts and build it themselves.

http://www.horizonhobby.com/inductrix-fpv-bnf-blh8580

Here is what we know so far

The unit comes with a yellow canopy that protects the FPV gear (camera and VTX)

The FPV inductrix comes with a 1S 200mAh 45C lipo battery, and a USB charger.

It has "improved" more powerful motors than the previous non-FPV version.

The unit has a integrated Spektrum RX, so will only be compatible to any 4+ channel transmitters with Spektrum DSMX. (still doesn't support Frsky Taranis without the Orange module!)

The VTX is 25mW.

Two versions

BNF - price $99 - only the quad, and requires a TX to bind and fly
RTF version - price $199 - comes with transmitter, and a 40ch 4.3” monitor (VRX integrated), sounds like a really nice idea.

They've got the cam/vTx on pre-order too ($40): http://www.horizonhobby.com/fpv-camera-2...-p-blh8505

It will be interesting to see the form-factor/quality of this when it arrives!

(And I just built my Tiny Whoop this morning - wouldn't ya know Big Grin )

This is awesome! I totally need to get one of these! Fortunately I have a Spectrum TX so I don't have to worry about adding a module!

Definitely be interested in seeing this. Recently put a tiny whoop together. Would be nice to have Horizon stock motors at the LHS.

Awesome, that's just what I was hoping for!

Any idea if someone will sell it in Europe as well? I was going to pre-order but it was extra $96 for shipping + tax...

Ok I got mine a couple days ago and I am absolutely loving it! The frame is identical to the original inductrix frame with he same weak points where the motors connect and I've already broken the frame. I figured out how to get it into macro mode from my DX6i and was having a blast flying it around the house. It flies quite well outside as well assuming there is no wind. I'm waiting on some glue to fix my frame as well as some of the new batteries and some replacement props from the e010. I absolute love this thing!
