FPV Camera image is cropped.
#1
Hello,

I'm fairly new to the world of FPV and this is the first Quadcopter I've built.
It flies great but the image looks to be cropped on the right side for some reason I can't figure out.
It looks like this:

The camera is a Foxeer Falkor 2 with 2.1mm lens.
VTX is AKK Ultimate X2
The image looks the same in both goggles and on my phone using a USB 5.8G Receiver.

Goggles, Camera, and OSD are all set to PAL.

I have tried 3 different cameras (two different Falkor 2 and one Falkor 1) with the same problem.

If anyone has any idea about what I could try next I'd be very grateful.

Thanks.

It looks like part of your frame to me.

Temporarily unmount the camera from it's side fixings and move it forward while watching the image to see if the problem disappears.

Wow, that was absolutely the case. That never even crossed my mind. I've changed lenses, tried different cameras and what not! Thanks a lot!

No problem. At least it will be a simple / cheap fix. Just move the camera forward or use a lens with a narrower FOV Smile

Yeah at least, I was expecting something very complex or expensive to be the answer. I will try a 2.5mm lens for starters. Smile Thanks again!
