I see a lot of people recording with a DVR on their headset, I am wondering if the Eachine 'Pro DVR' could be de-cased, mounted on board a quad and wired with the FPV feed in parallel with the VTX? Mounted on-board to avoid recording snow/interference and in parallel to minimise latency.

Can be done and is the intended use if you have a look on the wiring diagram...
