Foxeer Antenna problem
#1
Hi guys,

This is not a bashing session on Foxeer or Surveilzone, just putting the word out that perhaps there is a bad batch of these antennas.

Here are a couple of pics of mine.

The antennas have really tough caps on them and have hit them a lot and not once broke a cap, however, 3 light crashes resulted in 3 antennas all breaking at the same place.

I have contacted Surveilzone via email and and included the pics you see above and I get a reply back of

"Dear Sir

Please test and feedback, thank you

Best regards "

lol, Test what?, they are broken.

I have also contacted Foxeer and made a post on their FB website.

Lets see what happens here.

LOL. Once you stengthen the cap , the next weak point is the SMA. Stengthen the SMA , then the VTX SMA will break. Strengthen the VTX SMA eveything will be ripped out in one crash. Bolt the VTX onto the quad...., the cap will now bee the weekest point,..... and the cap will break. Smile

Just out of curiosity Biggles, how did you mount those antennas on the frame?
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car

Like all my antennas, just screwed them to the VTX SMA connector.
