i have the fs-r9b rx and cant get it to bind with the xbeast. any thoughts on what to try?

I have the same question.  Are you talking about the BeastX quad?  Please give us more information about your setup and how you are trying to bind. (Photos of wired connections might be useful as well.)

What Transmitter are you using? The R9B is an older receiver that uses the older protocol. You may need to change a setting in your transmitter for this.

I use Flysky, so I can help with this is you give some more information.
