Flying (or crashing) Dutchman

    Yo all,

Having finished my first 2 quads, a solid track record with my beloved XK X251 and want to know more about fpv, i signed up for this forum. Sharing knowledge and fun are amongst the most important things around.

I´m starting up a new build: Dys Fire 2600KV, Cicada Sunrise 30A ESC's, iFlight iX5 200mm frame, Omnibus F4 and FrSky D4R-II. Still have to decide on the cam, VTX and so on.

The first build i did was  about two months ago. A ReadyToSky kit with 20A LitlleBee ESC's, QAV-R 220mm frame, 2204 2300KV motors and a Naze32 rev6 acro FC. Had to learn how to solder, but i'm getting the hand of it.
The second one a Lisam 210mm frame, Racerstar RF2500 2300KV, Racerstar 30A lite ESC's, Naze32 Acro FC, Eachine 1000TVL CCD, Boscam TS832 VTX and a couple of Turnigy Graphene 4S 65C batteries. "Gaat als de brandweer!"

Tomorrow flying around the city of Groningen in the Netherlands, if the wind permits me.

See ya!

Thanks! I've got a MobiusMini, so  can shoot my flights. Now the first steps into FPV instead of LOS.  Big Grin

Nice choice with the Omnibus F4 for your next flight controller, I've got one going into my next build which is an Armattan Armadillo. If you have the version without the onboard current sensor, then it's not exactly flawless as you'll need some way to supply it with 5V power instead of using the built in regulator which proved not to be up to the job.
The OSD that you can set up right there in the Betaflight configurator is just brilliant though, as is the microSD card socket for your black box logs.

Happy flying and welcome from another new member!

out of sad experience... i can see some cables dangling behind your quad... if you fly in the open you might survive ... but once our will fly into the trees... those cables will be ripped apart Wink
