flir lepton diy
#1
Question
i know they are fairly new on the market (hard to find on kijiji yet)
but has anyone tried to pull the lepton out of an android/iOS flir dongle,
hook it up to a vtx to look for hot/cold spots on top of large / inaccessible
(i'm picturing subways and rt's here) vehicles / machinery / buildings?

LOL! I have been looking at doing that very mod with the Seek Reveal Thermal Imager. The Seek Reveal runs around 300 U.S. dollars on Ebay and has a 900 yard range.
