Anybody has ever tried to flash Sky04X firmware on Eachine EV300O goggle ?

Unless you can find someone that has actually done this, please do not do this.

I doubt you can do this as the hardware and internal board design might be very different.

Yes.

They are built by the same factory, the firmwares are externally very similar and the only difference is the display. So I hope to find something more brave to me who has already tried.

Hmmm, why would you want to do this. Being made in the same factory is no guarantee of any compatibility, they probably make other things there too. What feature is contained in the 04X firmware that you are after? If it is "just to do it"...well, try it and let us know how it works out. If it were me, I would stick with the firmware that is written for the hardware I have...but I am not a huge risk taker in that area.

I did better than that : I upgraded my ev300o into a sky04x, you need to change the optical block (and driver board) before the firmware do any good

Before the display change, with cross firmware, the osd partly works but the display obviously doesn't (there's two files for each firmware, one for the osd and one for the display, I don't remember exactly which combinations "works")
