(Fits the TinyWhoop/E010?) Eachine Tiny 32bit F3 Brushed FC Based on SP RACING F3 EVO
#1
I don't think that this controller has been listed here, but .... who's gonna make a lightweight 3D printable mount to glue this into for the E010 frame so we can get a betaflight HackyWhoop on a readily accessible board?

The board in the pictures looks a little toasty - but hopefully it's decent quality.

Measurements listed at 23mm*19.5mm*5mm - I thought the E010 FC mount was 25.2mm? Might need to adjust the board alignment in beta/cleanflight .... but I'm on to something, right?

Nice find! I just ordered one - not sure for tiny whoop or not, but I'll test it out somewhere. Thanks!

yea that might fit the E010. but i think we might need a 3D printed frame for that... tape solution is going to be awkward..

Awesome, @sloscotty! Let us know how it goes (for whatever application - not just the E010/Whoop).

You think, @Oscar? I was thinking that, ultimately, something like your camera mount could have the base thickened and leave a hole for the FC.  The FC would then be glued (by its edges) into that hole.  Likely mounting would be upside down and rotated 45 degrees.

I'm no 3D printing / 3D designing whiz and I may be underestimating just how small that space in the middle of the E010 really is though.

I would think that the camera and FC mount would be integrated....

Super hacky mock up (which assumes the protrusion of the usb connector is NOT included in the measurements - but is otherwise reasonably to scale) should tuck under your camera mount OK.... perhaps even allowing all 4 screws ... but maybe it'll get too unbalanced and with it being that far forward. Also, looking at it, maybe mounting right side up would be fine (shown upside down below) - since all the contacts are accessible on both sides.

I am thinking maybe we can modify the camera mount to fit the FC inside Smile

For those looking for DSM2 that don't have a satellite kicking around you can get the DasMikro. Pretty cheap and <1g: http://www.banggood.com/DasMikro-DSM2-5C...84913.html

Yeah! Looks well thought out. I'm not sure I'd spring for it over the BeeCore board ... but if I already had these parts around? Definitely worth a shot.

p.s. I ordered a Prusa i3 mk2 3d printer! Literally cannot wait for that thing to get here.
