That's a trick I've been trying to master on simulator but I don't have the guts to try on the vortex yet... I think I need to do a proper tune and find the right object first.

Looks like a ton of fun though!

What camera are you using? the audio is outstanding! You hear all quad and almost no wind.

Doing it on a high crane is good start, notice how my loop is very big at first and it is getting smaller.
I use the session 5  :) 
This is my second attempt, was great until my Velcro failed and the battery dropped...

Nice! you can definitely see the practice from the first go pay off on this second one.

I don't really have a lot of access to large cranes where I am... there are some alternative objects that I could work with but a lot of times they are in areas where it might mean crashing into something or in an area that's hard to recover so I've had a tough time experimenting in those areas. I am not afraid to crash, but there is still this intense fear deep down that I'll crash somewhere that I can recover.
