First FPV

Build in progress, waiting for a few parts. Everything is working as expected, cam, vtx, receiver, motors are spinning, I am very excited. Big Grin

Thanks a lot for the help here, makes the build much more easier.

I use for this build another frame, the Martian 2.

If you look at the image, there are still additional solder pads, like 3V, TX, RX and so on. For what are they?

Another question, where I solder the signal ground. On the Betaflight F3 flight controller is signal and ground, at the ESC I have signal at the PWM soldered. The motors work so far. Oscar has written in an article that it is better to connect the ESC ground also. I use the ESC as 4 in 1.

Thsoe additional solder pads are for accessing the processor directly, mainly for developers.
The TX/RX pins will be used for telemetry in the future.
Yea there is no dedicated signal ground on this ESC, just solder it to any spare ground pads, and twist it around the signal wire.

So one ground pad from the ESC to every four FC GND signal pad or should be one GND sigal pad enough? They have common ground.

any ground would be fine, like you said they are common ground all connected.

I have a the Diatone SP2 v2, it power up, I can change channels, band and power, but I get no signal, all bars in the Skyzone Goggles are low. I run it at 25mW, blue LED, the vtx will not get hot. I tried with 5V, 9V and Vbat, but nothing. Maybe DOA?
