I did listen... but it was after I swore off making purchases over 30 bucks for a while... I think maybe in June or July I'll let myself start spending money again though For now I don't really fly in spots where I'd get super lost... plus the point about RSSI could possibly save me some... I'll definitely try it if it comes up.

Another thing that one of the guys at the flying field showed me is that you can take the antenna off of your goggles and use them to get a feel for when you're getting closer... I thought it sounded pretty smart, although my antennas are a booger to take on and off because they're packed so close to one another.
