I have been in the EVGA que system for a year and a month. I marked my que on November 25 2020. Right now the que just hit November 23rd 2020, so literally within the next week or 2 I will be able to order it! I'm berry berry excited and thought I'd share.

Anyone else have to deal with the que? Anyone else trying to get an RTX 3000 series?

I pre-ordered the 3080 Ti TUF Overclocked edition 9 months ago, but due to them being backordered everywhere I'm probably not getting it until the end of Feb now (Originally it was supposed to be sometime this week) - Can't wait to get it though, I'm tired of no ray tracing with my GTX LOL

I built an entire new computer in 2020 with the centerpiece being the 3080 FTW ultra edition. Unfortunately I didn't know that you couldn't get them! now 2 years later and the 3080 is no longer the best card (outside the 3090) nor is the i9 9900k CPU lol.

But either way it doesn't matter I'm super happy and have the minimal amount of regret possible. Shit, I mine some crypto while I sleep just for the hell of it with my 980ti... I make like 30$ a month extra pocket change. With the 3080 I'll be making over 100$ just to sleep at night ;D Might even keep in the 980 just to mine on it 24/7... I mean.... why not? Free electricity where I live.

Just know that the EVGA 3080 Ultra takes 3x 8pin plugs to power it!

I had to upgrade my power supply to power the card because the one I had before didn't have enough 8-pin power cables.

Oh yes I know, I built this entire PC from scratch specifically to fit the 3080 in November of 2020 LOL.

I'm FINALLY getting the damn card NOW. When I purchased all the parts I had no idea that I'd have to wait so long to get the card.

Never in my life have I EVER had money for something and not been able to purchase what I wanted right away..... Cept for drugs ;D

And yeah I have 3 separate 8 pin connectors instead of 2 with a splitter. I did a month of daily research to build this PC! It was my dream PC build. Unfortunately over a year later it's a little out dated, but not by much at all, and that's always gonna happen ANYWAY. I'm super happy with all of it. And it makes a lot of purty colors too so no regrets ;D
