FC in Bootloader not recognized

If you can connect to Betaflight with your computer for settings then you would really only need to use another computer once to update to newest BF version. Then use your computer to set it up.

I realize this is not ideal, but would at least get you flying on the newest version of BF.

Yes, I see how this could work, but in my case, I already initially tried the laptop of my grandma and my own desktop pc with any ports etc.

I highly doubt, that the issue lies within the PC's.

Also it isn't any stm32 error but a plain device descriptor error, so the device is not recognized as anything(when in Bootloader).

Is there a way to update the driver on the FC?

Oh, sorry yes i missed your Post yesterday.
Thanks for your Advice.

I reinstalled the STM32 Drivers to my Systems and rebooted.

Then i connected my FC in BL and looked for the driver in Device manager, but was not able to find the exact driver you mentioned in your post.

I tried the " STM Device in DFU Mode" Driver, but that also popped up with a yellow Error Symbol again, so i uninstalled the device again, to reset it.

Also, my Flight controller does not pop up in "Ports" as yours does, but in "USB Controllers"

Here i have a high res picture of my FC wired onto my TP3 frame.

As far as i am concerned, i dont see any shorts or solder blobs, that could cause this issue.

The GND Lead of the XT30 is not mechanically connected to the outside of the USB Housing, but electrically grounded.
Is that correct, or should i resolder my Power-Leads?

SOLVED:

By now i have finally fixed the problem.

I also contacted the Support-Team of Diatone, which suggested desoldering all wires from the board and cleaning the FC with some Alcohol.

After i did that, the whole process of flashing the FC and getting the Bootloader with DFU Mode started, as no problem at all.

Now my Quad runns Betaflight 4.2.9 and is flying like a newborn angel.

Thank you very much for your Support here in the Community

Greetings from Denmark,

Orka
