FatShark Teleporter V3 Worth It Or Not?
#1
So i have flown FPV with a screen before but i'm yet to progress onto goggles & was looking for some advice on what to get.
I'm currently in the process of looking for a house so i don't have too much spare cash floating around unfortunately Sad

I was thinking of getting the Fatshark Teleporter v3 from hobbyking for around £140.
Now i know the resolution on these isn't the best but i think i could make do for a while, are these something i should invest in or not?

I was thinking of getting the Quanum Goggles but with everything they aren't really a great price for what they are in my opinion.

Seems like a good deal, the resolution is a little low and I would swap the antennas for a cloverleaf design but it should be OK for a first system.
Current quad: ZMR 250 / DYS SE2205 / Littlebee 20A ESCs / Drone Lab 1500 4S / Naze32 Rev5 / BF 2.7.1
FPV: Runcam Skyplus / Aomway 200mw VTX / Fatshark DomV1

I would recommend the Quanum V2 for now... it's cheap and works well, until you have saved up enough then go straight for a high end one..
no point getting stuck with an expensive Teleporter that you will re-sell later Smile

I bought the Fatshark Predator v2 kit from Hobbyking a while ago and I can say it's alright, the video turns black and white sometimes but I think that is because it wasn't very bright outside. I'm new into fpv and I don't know what to expect(I guess I still have to accommodate with them) but I would also recommend the Quantum diy goggles, because they are cheap and see if you like flying with goggles.

I was going to go for the Predator v2's but they are on back order every where.  I think i will go with the teleporters and then maybe later on progress to dominators

From what I remember I bought them late November, and back then they were on sale for like 170€ until a month or so , so probably that's why they are out of stock. I was considering selling them and buying a Quantum v2 but idk. I'll wait for sunny weather and give them another try.

Quanum v2's are nice, it's what I use until I feel comfortable dropping 500 on an over weight fish. Slightly smaller and cleaner package, take a look @ the VUEXL head set. I had to do many mods to the quanums to make them comfortable to wear.

Ill take a look at them.

I have offered someone £120 for a pair of Dominator v1's on ebay which they accepted but they are now not replying to me :'(

Hopefully they will get back to me soon.

That's great! I never seem to find anything on eBay to buy second-hand or on auction, only new stuff that is overpriced.
