Hey guys,
I have seen this a few times looking over the new listings on BG, with the passing thought of where would you put the servo to make this Tri work? I'd never stopped for a closer look at the product page till this morning, when I thought - What is it that is so odd about this?
After looking at this pic more closely, I realized that the spacers are all weird and the top 'Y' arm is really thick...
Ohhh, it is actually 2 separate Y arms, with a different configuration on the 'body/fuselage' side, leading me to put (possibly all the wrong) pieces of the puzzle together - with the thought that whoever built this frame for the photo's has done so incorrectly...
I have come to the conclusion that it isn't actually a proper Tri-copter, but a Y configuration quad... I think that the Y arms are supposed to be top and bottom rather than stacked atop one another. To my mind this is the only way to provide yaw authority, considering the lack of a servo.
What do you think?
