Extend Motor Wires?
#1
I have finished EVERY part of my build except soldering the motors to the ESC's. I have tested everything in cleanflight to make sure I get the expected results and it all looks good (motors excluded obviously). The reason I have not soldered them yet is two fold.

I want to use bullet connectors for the motors for quick swap capability in case I blow/damage an ESC or motor someday.
The motors also came with relatively short wires which do not reach properly with my frame.

What wire should I be buying for this and where should I buy it from? I went to Lowes & Menards and neither seemed to have what I needed.

I am using 25A BLHELI.S ESC's and Racerstar BR2205 KV2300 Motors.

THANK YOU!!!

Lol Smile

I was reading that article actually right before i posted this. Based on that I should be using about 22AWG however I can not find any places to buy stranded wire except in BULK and I mean like industrial BULK. So I thought I might be calculating it wrong. Is there a reliable place to buy this kind of wire?

eBay.

Search for "silicone insulated cable".

Searching silicone wire or silicone cable brought up what I needed! Thank you. I had been just searching for 22agw wire or 22agw cable and it was not what I needed. Thank you.
