Esy's First Quad Build
Oh right, I usually solder them all the same, and fix the spin direction in BLHeliSuite. See we do this things so often so just blindly assume everyone know how to do it. LOL I will explain this part in more detail in the tutorial.
Let me know if there was any other confusions during your build.

And like total noob, you dont know what wire from motor you need to connect to what pin of  ESC and if this matter or not.

Yup, know that, Im developer for 12 years. Explaining something to someone who is completly new is always hard. But overall, You tutorial is great! Ill follow it from the top to the bottom.

But yea sentence "It does not matter, It can be fixed in sw later" wil save me a one stressfull evening Big Grin

I've been updating my PID guide recently, still some work to do, but I hope it will come in handy for you when it's ready Smile
by the way I edited the "how to build a racing drone" guide with info about motor direction, and I created a separate guide to explain that in more detail Smile
https://oscarliang.com/change-motor-spin...uadcopter/

thank you for your suggestion!
I think for your flying right now, the first thing you need to improve on is your stick control, because I can see wobbles in your flying which are probably caused by "shaky fingers"? Try to keep the sticks steady and still, only move them when you really need to, and move them very gently and gradually Smile you flying will look a lot more smoother Smile Just my 2 cents

OKe I crashed my first frame!Big Grin

And one but huge advice to beginners. Take the loong string every time you went fly!

The cold really is a challenge. I've tried flying with gloves, but when I can't feel what I'm doing properly, it's no good.

It also tends to be even more windy than usual here in the winter and the stronger the wind, the greater the chance that you'll end up misjudging things and end up in a tree! In my case, there are also some electricity pylons running over the northern side of the field where I fly. When I was starting out, the wind took my quad straight into one of the pylons at speed. It didn't break the frame, but it completely destroyed one of the motors!

I have a transmitter glove for my radio, but what with the wind and the close to zero temperatures, after ten minutes standing out at the field, I'm frozen to my core.

Roll on the summer!!

where I can sign this ?Big GrinD

I have this gloves. https://www.banggood.com/Warm-Glove-Cold...91527.html
And I will add some small pouch in and add heatpack in it!Big Grin

That's the one!

It does need some kind of internal heater though. The heat given out by your hands isn't enough to raise the temperature inside the glove and keep it warm, particularly when it's windy.

Okey, lets move thsi Thread to the next phase !Big Grin

Because I rip maritan frame, gud bless, the spare frame I was order some time ago was delivered Big Grin So I can fly. But Now im before big decision.

Because I love flying a lot so I crash a lot. So I was looking for some decent frame. I love the look of reverb. And build elements of rooster..

So Lets talk about, what frame will be better for me? Big Grin

99% will be used for freestyle.

The build of rooster loks totaly sick

4mm bottom plate. Titanium camera cage.. god dammit!Big Grin

The Rooster is a refined Chameleon, the Reverb is a refined Alien. You can't go wrong with either one. Both come from well known, reputable companies. The rooster has a lifetime warranty on the carbon parts, buy some extra arms so you can fly while you wait for the replacements when you break one.
