Esy's First Quad Build
#16
Ok, I just doublechecked my build and IM pretty happy!

Just two things and I can order It from banggood.

Flight controller is not at stock, so I need switch to anything else.
Maybe https://www.banggood.com/Omnibus-F4-Pro-...rehouse=CN ?

And about Eagle 2 Camera what lense is better 2.1 or 2.5? As I look on few videos, Ill go to 2.1
[EDIT] I found they selling 1,8 lens, So I added this to my build list!

So after veryfing the new FC choice Ill make the order!  Heart

The lens is more of a preference kind of thing. You get a wider FOV as you fly, however some people think it starts to look like a bubble if it gets too big. That FC looks pretty interesting. Can't say I have seen one like that. One of the ones my friend used recently (DYS F4), comes waterproofed. We had no idea until it was stuck in a tree for 4 weeks, through rain and snow. Finally knocked it down and the only thing that did not work was the battery. Lol. I say that because it might be a nice option to look into for a first build. It gives it a little extra protection from the elements of crashing.

The Omnibus F4 Pro Corner is pretty new, I haven't tried it or heard from anyone who used it yet.
But the Kakute F4 is a good option also, I reviewed it before, probably use that instead.

why are you buying a separate lens for the Eegle 2 camera? the stock lens is perfectly fine, and i prefer 2.1mm lens option btw.

I have an Eagle 2 with the stock lens and its fine for me. Eventually I may look into different lenses but for now I'm just focusing on flight time.
Flying: Talon 6S 6" 2407s 381g no bat, Martian 3, 5" 2205s sooo heavy + gopro session 5 573g AUW, Aurora 5" 2205s 280g no bat, Druckbaer 3" 1404s 172g AUW 3S 550, BQE Megapixel 2.5" 1107s 139g AUW 3S 550, BabyHawk R 2.5" 164g AUW 3S 550 (stock except microeagle, CRSF, 2.5" arms) and maybe 3 more, for now...

With these components, they are hardly mid-range. I feel these components deserve a better frame.

OMG, this soo much. I feel nothing at all crashing my Wizard frame, but the second my Chameleon hits something my cheeks clench immediately.

I know, but the shipping though  Sad

I need to order a secondary frame and brackets, so I have a backup if things get too real and I have to warranty it.

Yea, you have to pay $5 for shipping every time you order a replacement part, and have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive (if you are lucky it could take longer). I don't own any frame from Armattan, but hearing many stories from people I fly with, life time warranty is not as good as it sounds
