1 Just a quick update. I rigged up a circuit from the Arduino 3.3v with a resistor and LED and used it as a makeshift multimeter to test the continuity of the data line from the FC through to the Motor. All good.
Does the FC auto-discover ESCs or do I need to set them somewhere in the firmware?

1 Have now tried CleanFlight on the FC as well. No luck.
Waiting on word back from Eachine at this point. Little wary of trying to buy new ESCs or something as I don't really know enough about what is going on to rule our user error at this point.

17 If the aren't responding to BLHeliSuite or BLHeli Configurator with C-L-15, try G-L-15 on just one ESC

0 I hope I'm posting this in the right place!
Recently had an ESC blow on me, a DYS SN 20 amp... so I've replaced it with the same type, but, the new ESC has a different bootloader... I can't remember exactly, but it's one letter up the alphabet to all the others, think all the others are C and the new one is D, I had issues syncing it, but have calibrated ESC's and they're all set up the same in bl heli.....
The quad (Ragg-E 200H) now has a very "touchy" throttle, flyable but not the predictable go to quad it was.... So is this to do with the bootloader, or maybe something to do with the reason the ESC blew up?
I've ordered a racerstar 2 in 1 ESC to replace these 4 ESC's, neaten up the build, and I'll be swapping the FC from what ever it is now ( I forgot) to an omnibus.
I just sort of miss the quad while stuff's on the slow boat and want to pass on the ESC's to a mate as a working set... Any ideas?

17 Definitely nothing to do with the bootloader.
