0 Hi everyone, i have two FC : Matek F405 STD and Naza.
I want to try them both on a quad 250 mm.
Do you think there could be a 4 in 1 esc (30 or 40 A, i will mount a 2205 or 2306 motor) compatible with both FCs?
If there isn't a small esc 4 in 1 for naza, i will probably buy 4x single esc racestar.
Thank you

118 The Naza is very old and I am not sure you will find newer firmware for it. You can post that to a museum.
The Matek F405 STD although EOL will work well with a 4in1 ESC, the motor outputs are labeled S1/S2/S3/S4/S5/S6.
One thing to remember when choosing a 4in1 ESC is to find one which has a 5v output as the Matek F405 STD can only be powered via 5v. There is a vbat pad on that FC but it is only for voltage sensing.

118 Any ground on the FC will work.
With a few exceptions for ground isolation, every ground pad on any PCB board not just FC’s are in electrical continuity.

118 I have never tried an Eachine ESC and so I am unable to comment.
Try finding a reputable ESC but even then with electronics in this hobby there is no guarantee.
I will advise against buying anything from BG because their refund/dispute policy is a pain to deal with.
Try finding an ESC from a local store so you can get a replacement if you get a DOA or bad board.

786 Eachine use generic / cloned ESCs and you will likely get what you pay for. That ESC is almost half the price of other 30x30 ESCs so pay your money and take your chances.
I echo what kafie said about B**g***d. Avoid them like COVID-19. I stopped buying stuff from them and haven't given them any of my money for more than two years due to their crappy customer support and warranty. If you buy from a vendor in your own country, even if you pay a bit more it means you are supporting local businesses and you will have some legal comeback if you end up with faulty / substandard goods. If you buy from a foreign vendor you are at the mercy of their "goodwill" only and generally get no real protection or comeback if something goes wrong, even if you use PayPal.
