unboxing
The unboxing will be quick as it comes in a super convenient carrying pouch, which will protect perfectly. 
The cover, down ERC MARKET shelf itself was packed in a transparent plastic film .. but as we were eager to discover the craft I have not made the first picture: p
The black box, but relatively stiff fabric, in which lies the NightHawk, surrounded by a red zipper .. the colors of the brand.

Overview

On the top of the unit, located toward the front of the machine, behind the camera, is a "servo" type of card on which will connect your remote control receiver. We find it in the standard order: black = gnd, red = + 5v, orange = sbus / ppm.
   
On the back of the device are located two transparent blocks which each contain a programmable LED RGB via your betaflight or cleanflight interface. 
You can choose your color on the back to slightly customize 
Between the two LEDs are small holes hiding a buzzer that can be assigned to a switch (again in betaflight interface or cleanflight) to the trigger to locate the buzzer ... it will also serve to warn you of low battery voltage or to report another malfunction of the flight map.
 
Also on the rear of the machine, near the passage of power cables with the XT60 on which it will connect the battery is a little red cap. 
Under this red cap is located SMA connector antenna (especially not to forget to fit before connecting the battery). 
Are also visible, near the antenna connector, a small display will inform the channel and the frequency band on which rests the video transmitter (left in the picture) and in front of this display is a small button that will change the channel or frequency band (on the right in the photo). 
You can easily change the channel to tune with other pilots when flying to many.
The video transmitter is configured original 25mW in order to comply with European standards, but you can easily switch to 200mW ... for that you will have access to the interior of the drone and this switch a microswitch on the side of the video transmitter.
  
On the left side of the drone in the part in yellow plastic abs, is the Micro USB connector that will set it up under betaflight (note that it is also compatible cleanflight).
The betaflight application is available in the Google Chrome browser.

With this combo engines and propellers 5050 bullnose you will not lack power.

Under the engine section is placed a semi-transparent plastic part which partially surrounds the engine to protect the shock; in addition it also includes LEDs that illuminate your multi after his 4 arms. 
Small flat is the passage of motor cables through the carbon arms. I fear that with time and crashes carbon does come sever or cut the sheath of the cable short circuit, which will cause a destruction of the connected esc.
   
The CCD camera is integrated in a kind HS1177 ABS case yellow for integration with the look of the drone. 
The camera is placed on a hinged support (red) which allow you to give the angle right for your type of flying.

You may wonder if the hull is solid and will bear crashes !? It is sufficient to absorb shock, support standard crashes during the sessions, but surely not resist a concrete column at a session in parking lot: p
   
The end of the arms, under an engine, transparent plastic which allows distinguishing two high brightness LEDs that illuminate the device to distinguish orientation. Note that the LEDs under the engines are not programmable!

The antenna supplied to the video transmitter is a pagoda-type antenna version 2. 
At present this is what is best in terms of reception quality, signal coverage in the video antennas 5.8GHz . 
The antenna is provided in SMA connectors.

A 200 .. From 5 ".. It happens? That's right, but this combo works perfectly
 
In the belly of the animal.
To open the belly of the beast that is super easy .. Simply unscrew the 6 screws in allen size: 2 on the back on top of the unit next to the video transmitter and 4 located below at the front in the camera which can release it and its support .. Then exert a slight pressure on the plastic shell to release it as it crept 2mm beneath the transparent substrates.
 
The thickness of the carbon is about 3.6mm which ensures rigidity, robustness, while remaining lightweight.
  
Is real carbon? yes ... the proof test ohmmeter that displays short circuit because carbon is an excellent conductor of electricity.

A zoom on the receiver connection: either you use the supplied connector, or you can use the pads of uart3. In fact the test was ohmmeter proves that it is connected together. So ppm / sec bus on uart3!

The vtx is a 5.8ghz 25 / 200mw. Original configured 25mW to stick to European legislation, it is nevertheless unbrid by sliding a small microswitch located inside the machine on the side of the transmitter .. He is seen here, the small dot white to the right of the issuer on the photo.


Under the engines are placed signaling LEDs. Although not programmable as already announced, they are nevertheless visible to locate the ass-ass-head of tê when starting in visual flight.

The screenshots made here are made of origin. Nevertheless, I made an update of these as well as an update to the flight controller before the first takeoff to benefit from the latest developments and bug fixes.
Please note that it will completely reconfigure and recalibrate as your machine after updating !!

On video
Unfortunately I have not had time to make a video .. During his first flight (Maiden) test I forgot to start up the DVR (Recorder) my glasses and following a failed esc it s' crashed after flight 20s, causing the destruction of a carbon unibody arms on the plate and thus revealing the weak point of this one.
 
However I enjoyed during those really sweet flight 20s and cast (smooth like butter) and really Locke (stalled) on its axis or when cornering. I would not have had a faulty esc it would severely shackled batteries.
It happens…
Conclusion
Although it is a little toy at first, we quickly realize, once taken in hand, the latter is a real racer in itself. Composed of carbon and abs, his look is clearly distinguished from other machines .. With almost last generation components, before we still have time to continue to be riding the wave "hype".
It will nevertheless some knowledge or a talented friend to add, binder and configure its remote control receiver and remote control. (There are only 3 son to connect via servo connector and a little configuration to do but it can put off beginners)
Well balanced and very enjoyable to drive, this device is well designed for smooth flight as for the pure breed!
Not specially adapted for a beginner, unless to hang on and follow tutorials available on the Web, which will be quickly lost in the thousands of betaflight settings (although partially configured original), however, it will delight the intermediate pilots as experienced.
Please note, however, that in a crash this device includes points of weakness on its unibody carbon plate as we have unfortunately noticing.

I have one of the original EMax HX200 frames that this design comes from and I like it very much.
