Emax Nighthawk 250 Build
#16
Lot of room in that frame. Would make for a welcomed build after how tight my Dronz Fury 252 RX was. If you are going to have Pink Props, shouldn't the standoffs be pink also?

Yeah eventually i will be doing all of the finishing details like colour matching etc. Just trying to get all of the FPV stuff added in and get it flying nice before i bother too much about the aesthetics.

Very nice well thought out build. I'm impressed by the logic. What size are the inter component wiring harnesses, 22AWG?

I like the way the PDB is hidden away, it makes the wiring neater.

Although I like salmon props and I like pink props, I can't decide if I like them together or not. Do these colors clash or is this a preppy look? I'm not sure.

Kidding aside, I recently replaced a wobbly motor and thanks to the comments on this thread, I think I'll take it apart and investigate.

Sorry i'm not 100% sure what you mean?

The Thug PDB has the esc pads on the one side and the polulu step down on the other side of the board.

In your first post, I see a black and a white PDB - one has pads for an XT60 - I'm guessing those are just two different PDBs and not 2 pieces of one then....

UPDATE

After running out of 5045 props i have had to switch to the emax 6030 carbon props. (Pictured Below)

I have also had to put the flight controller into a plastic case due to the standoffs snapping after a crash, this should only be temporary but still seems to work well.

Managed to sew some elastic onto a rucksack i got from Ikea a few years ago. This combined with a spare battery strap allows me to easily transport the quad.

Update! Here is a better view of the bag
