Eachine Tiny QX90
#1
Saw a friend flying the Eachine Tiny QX90 a few weeks ago and I had to order one. It is a really good bargain, two 600mAh LiPos, FPV ready, binds to a Taranis in seconds and has 8 channels. Runs Cleanflight so it is very easy to setup modes, change rates, etc.

It flies really stable and the motors have plenty of power. I upgraded the propellers to a BN version I had laying around. Overall this flies better than the Inductrix and costs close to half - amazing!

I got mine on sale for $50, I think it is $65 now - still a great deal.

There are a few good unboxing reviews already on YouTube, so I will not repeat their info, but instead here is a quick flight around my house:

Very cool!
What's the flight time? 600mAh sounds plenty to me.

I have not measured but seem to be able to get 3+ minutes easily.

Cool vid, don't you find the LED reflection distracting when your flying? maybe a touch of black marker on those shiny can's would help?

It was a problem only in dark places. Hardly noticed in normally lit rooms. Yeah a sharpie or even liquid electric tape drop would eliminate it.

That's right Oscar. Felt noticeably more powerful than the Inductrix. The original props were not staying well after few crashes so I replaced them with these I had laying around - http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Walker...46561.html

i can see that the little one has a tendency to "catch the fly"
as this is CF based you can do all the configuration there ? (rates pids etc) or is it somehow limited ?
and a question can you flash a BF to it ?
All the best

Maybe a strange question, but is it easy to remove the camera, this because i don't have a fpv screen, but want to try to fly with it.
It also save then some weight and more flight time.

It is quite easy. you unsolder the power cables for the camera and unscrew two small screws

That's easy to do, and also easy to place it back if i have a FPV screen.

I did not bother mounting the camera much beyond strapping it down with the rubber bands it came with. I don't think there is a connector but you can easily install one on the power wire.

So the camera will come apart from the quadcopter and normally you mount it on the quadcopter.
Can you maybe post a picture of how you do the power for the camera.

Just ordered parts to build one- and got the blade bumper for it as I'm not very good yet Smile
(It's going to share the camera and VTX from my E010)
Looking forward to it arriving and building and playing with it

Any build tips?

Regards
Rob
