Eachine nano vtx, hype or best video reception???
#1
I watched a few videos of pilots claiming Machine makes the best nano vtx and I must admit this one has very little noise.
Its a boring video but it is the best video in goggles I've ever gotten.
Its my Avio 3" with jhmco AIO and Im using 5v Bec pads. I tried keeping it in shade for over heating on its first flight. No problems handling heat.

I grabbed two after watching many reviews of others saying the same thing about Eachine vtx but especially the nano had more penatration and less noise.
I'm getting very little noise in goggles.
I may grab a few more next flash sale if this one and the other keep performing like today.

I have two Eachine nano400.

I swapped out a $9 FET200 on my 3".
But the Eachine has some faint black / dark lines.
I put thicker wires. A little cap on 5V pads. Nothing helps.

Its prob because Im powering camera from eachine.

That is awfully good video.
What cam & antenna?
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

Couldn’t say it’s the “best”.. but I have a couple in smaller quads. Quality products, make sure it has plenty of air flow.. when it gets hot the signal goes dark.
I’ve heard the Rush Tank has positive reviews, personally for a 5”, price, durability, the PandaRC is hard to beat.. especially at $13. I’ve got one in my 5” beater.. and it’s been through hell..
Having a good antenna helps… putting a “ok” antenna on a quality vtx kinda defeats the vtx. Remember, antennas can also become damaged.

It’s a Caddx Baby Ratel camera and Rush Cherry antenna.
Eachine includes a 20 by 20 hardwood or nylon plate.
I glued vtx to it with a enough glue to ooze out the sides to act as a conduit for heat transfer.
I couldn’t find thermal pads but using them and a zip tie would be another way to secure vtx to included heat sink.
I may have to try a few other Eachine FPV electronics but will wait for flash sales.
