Eachine EV800 AV in
#1
I have the eachine EV800 googles and read that they have an AV in option.  What would this be used for?

Simulators, movies, ground station?

Simulators are the most practical use. If you can get an AV output from your computer, or use and HDMI to AV adapter, it makes for a much more realistic experience.

Keep in mind, there have been two versions of the Eachine EV800. The AV input was only added to the second version. To check, the plug on the right hand side of the goggles should be a 3.5mm jack (standard headphone jack). Your goggles would have come with an AV cable, as well.

I ordered mine a week before the second version was announced Tongue

Mine are the second version. I'd like to try them with the simulator. I just have HDMI out on my computer. A simple HDMI to rca cable wont work right? I'd need the hdmi box that had rCA out.

My guess would be that a simple HDMI to RCA cable wouldn't work, but if you have one, it's worth a shot.

This type of thing will definitely work:
